How do curved LED displays work
Like any LED wall, you use small tiles embedded with LEDs. These tiles all slot together and are held in place by a strong metal framework.
For a standard, gently curved concave or convex LED wall, you can still use standard flat LED tiles but the framework must be a rounded shape rather than flat. Once multiple tiles are positioned on the rounded framework, a curved LED wall becomes evident.
If you want a curved LED display with a tighter radius, you can purchase pre-curved LED tiles or even flexible ones made of a rubber-like material – these can be bent or folded and are affixed using magnets – making it easier to create LED displays in interesting shapes.
How curved and flat led wall design & installation differs
Unlike a flat LED wall, there is a very narrow margin for error when it comes to curved led displays.
This is because the frame designer needs to appreciate the tolerances of what is possible with standard LED tiles (which are more cost-effective than pre-curved tiles), and issues such as viewing angles and pixel visibility.
As such, the design, build and installation of a curved LED wall must be done by specialists.

Because we specialise in LED walls and in custom enclosures and frameworks, we have experienced in-house designers that can design bespoke frameworks for you to order.
Alternatively, we can supply our own ‘off-the-peg’ curved mounting panels which are manufactured in the UK to order through our trusted suppliers.
Convenience
We can design and build a display for you, supply all the relevant hardware and install it. We can also supply content management software and provide ongoing technical support.
