What are digital menu boards?
Digital menu boards are just the same as standard digital signage – a screen, media player (integrated within a screen or an external device), mount, and usually software – see our overview on digital signage for more detail. The only differences tend to be where/how screens are positioned and the content appearing on them.
If your screens are in or above a hot, humid kitchen, you’ll need hardware designed for that environment. Similarly, if your menu boards are going to be outdoors (e.g. for drive-through) you’ll need hardware designed to withstand variations in temperature, and an enclosure to protect it.

Why we don't display our menu board prices
There are three key reasons we don’t display our menu board prices on our website.
- We set our hardware prices based on what we’re paying. We shop around for the best prices, and where we can, we use bulk buying to get better rates from our suppliers and pass those savings on to you. If we charged a flat rate, you’d inevitably pay more.
- The more hardware and services you buy from us, the more our prices come down. We like to form long term relationships with our clients and reward them for spending more with us.
- Prices and models vary massively. There are so many different screen sizes and models with different benefits for different prices, that showing the price of one or two can be really misleading.
